Recreational Guidelines and Policies

These rules and regulations provide a summary: Declarations of the proper Association shall be the overriding governing document. Any consent or approval given under these rules and regulations by either Association shall be revocable at any time. These rules and regulations may be modified, added to, or replaced by either Association.

POOL RULES

  1. The swimming pool is a common element for use only by residents, their families, guests, and invitees. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  2. All persons using the pool do so at their own risk and must have a pool pass in their possession at the time they are in the pool area. The Management is not responsible for any accident or injury in connection with use of the pool or for any loss or damage to personal property. Persons using the pool agree not to hold Management liable for any actions of whatever nature occurring within these pool areas.
  3. Persons sixteen (16) years of age or under must be accompanied at all times by an adult (18 years or older) while in the pool area.
  4. Guest must be accompanied by a resident. Except by prior arrangement, the number of persons in any one (1) group in the pool area at any one time will not exceed the resident members of the family plus one (1) guest per resident.
  5. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times, and for the careful observance of all safety and sanitation precautions. Any person having an apparent or known skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cough, cold, nasal or ear discharge, or any communicable disease shall be excluded from the pool.
  6. No boisterous or rough play shall be permitted in the pool area.
  7. All persons are requested to cooperate in maintaining maximum cleanliness and tidiness in the swimming pool area. All trash shall be deposited in trash containers provided, and cigarette butts shall be deposited in sand buckets provided for this purpose.
  8. No glassware shall be brought into the pool area.
  9. The pool shall be used in accordance with such rules and regulations as shall, from time to time, be promulgated by the Board of Health of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
  10. Each resident shall be responsible for any damage caused to the recreational facilities by such resident or any of his/her family or guests.
  11. Do not tamper with the pool equipment at anytime.
  12. No swimming in clothing other than swimming apparel and no cut-offs in the pool.

Lake & Picnic Area

  1. No swimming in the lake.
  2. No motor boating in the lake
  3. Lake closes at dark.
  4. Fishing and nonmotor boating are allowed in the lake but all persons using the lake and picnic area do so at their own risk. The Management is not responsible for any accident or injury in connection with use of the lake or for any loss or damage to personal property. Persons using the lake agree not to hold Management liable for any actions of whatever nature occurring within the lake and picnic area.
